Karzai was addressing a gathering regarding the Durand Line in Kabul. The former president said the Durand Line had been imposed by then imperialistic forces on Afghans.
“When the line was imposed on us, Pakistan was not created. Afghanistan from the very first day of the line’s imposition did not accept it. Pakistan should understand not recognizing the line does not mean enmity with the country.”
