KABUL (Pajhwok): NATO forces on Monday handed over the meteorology section at the Hamid Karzai International Airport to Afghan security forces, the Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA) said.
A statement from ACAA said Afghans received professional training in areas of air traffic, firefighting, engineering, protection and meteorology and they could now handle the tasks independently in consultation with NATO advisors.
