CHARIKAR with northern provinces of the country has been blocked for traffic due to heavy snowfall and snowstorm, an official said on Friday.
Gen. Rajab, the safety and security in-charge of Salang Pass, told Pajhwok Afghan news the strategic Salang Pass had been closed from Thursday evening and may remain closed for 72 hours.
He said all kind of vehicles had been stopped at the Malkhan and Khenjan areas of Baghlan and Tajekan district of Parwan.
