KABUL (Pajhwok): Sunday has been declared a public holiday as heavy snowfall lashed the capital Kabul and several other provinces for the second day in a row.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD) said a public holiday was observed today in accordance with President Ashraf Ghani’s order.
In a statement, Minister Nasreen Oryakhel said the heavy snowfalls in many areas had led to the closure of roads and emergency situations.
