MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A mass grave has been discovered in Maimana city, the provincial capital of northwestern Faryab province, local officials said on Saturday.
Col. Mir Amanullah Zafir, provincial police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that according to inhabitants of Chaghatak village, which is located in limits of 9th municipal district of the city, security and discovery team of 2nd police district had found the collective grave.
“The grave had seven bags of rotten bones, which are earlier shifted here.”
