PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Kabul and Islamabad may strike a deal on a mechanism to address concerns on terrorism-related issues next week, a senior Pakistani official hopes.
Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz told a media briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, “Terrorism is a common enemy and both sides agree there should be cooperation on dealing with this issue.”
The neighbours, which have long been trading allegations of harbouring terrorist sanctuaries, are currently holding discussions on evolving a joint mechanism, the advisor added.
