KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): About 200 factories that were closed down in protest against power outages have resumed production in southern Kandahar province.
Ten days back, hundreds of industrialists closed their factories and staged a protest demonstration against the non-availability of electricity. They had asked the government to provide them uninterrupted electricity.
Some industrialists from Kandahar also visited capital Kabul and shared their problems with higher authorities.
On Sunday, officials and owners of the factories said they had returned to work after fuel for electricity . . .
