GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Some public representatives and residents of southern Ghazni province accuse the provincial court of releasing criminals detained by Afghan security forces after a brief detention either under pressure or in return for money.
Provincial council head, Khaliqdad Akbari, told Pajhwok Afghan News that police after hardships detained Taliban, robbers, kidnappers and other criminals but they were released by the Ghazni court without punishment.
“The court and the attorney’s office release criminals either under pressure from powerful individuals or due to corruption,” he said . . .
