LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): An alleged suicide bomber has been arrested by National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel in southern Helmand province, the spy service said in a statement on Thursday.
The provincial NDS department in a statement identified the alleged bomber as Sayed Nabi who was arrested in Lashkargah, the provincial capital.
It said the detainee had confessed to planning a suicide attack on a crowded area with directives from a notorious Taliban Abbas.
