KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Public representatives from southern Kandahar province on Sunday complained development budget, lower than funds for other provinces, was not released in time.
On the other hand, the Kandahar Revenue Department says the main problem lies with some departments that could not plan development projects on schedule, an issue that results in late provision of budget.
Provincial council head, Haji Syed Jan Khakrizwal, told Pajhwok Afghan News the budget allocated to Kandahar for 1396 solar year was less compared to other provinces.
