PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Veteran Pakhtun nationalist leader Asfandyar Wali Khan has hailed recent talks between Pakistan on contentious bilateral issues.
The Awami National Party (ANP), addressing a gathering here on Tuesday, asked the government to understand that a prosperous Pakistan was not possible without a stable Afghanistan.
A resolution of all issues between the two countries through peaceful means was the need of the hour, Khan said, urging the neighbours to take confidence-building measures.
