KABUL to overtly speak about terrorism supporting countries and its aftermath.

President Ashraf Ghani has already reached Riyadh to participate in the three-day first-ever summit.

Besides the host, King Salman, US President Donald Trump, 55 heads of state and government from the Muslim world have been invited to participate in the grand meeting deemed as an opportunity for the participating countries to discuss how to overcome the menace of terrorism and extremism across the world.

Bashir Ahmad Bizhan, a political affairs expert, said the summit had a huge importance for Afghanistan and urged the president to avail the event properly.

“The president should clearly show the real picture of Afghanistan which has been the victim of terrorism, and people are giving sacrifices every day in this country.”

“Ghani should ask Islamic countries not to leave Afghanistan alone in its fight against international terrorism because the insecurity will one day spill over into their countries if not prevented here.”

Meanwhile, Shir Mohammad Akhundzada, a member of Wolesi Jirga, said the Riyadh huddle was a good opportunity for Afghanistan.

“We ask President Ghani to draw the real image of Afghanistan situation at the conference. He should not have said Pakistan’s isolation is not in our favor, but must say Pakistan must be isolated for fuelling the war in Afghanistan.”

He said the war-weary Afghanistan people needed peace.“We want peace, we also ask Donald Trump to take a fair decision on Afghanistan and if the US is our real ally, it should support us in bringing peace to the country.”

“In case the world leaders and high-level officials attending the summit intended to work for peace in Afghanistan, it could be easily achieved, peace in Afghanistan is in the interest of the region and the globe”, he concluded.
