QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): Six security posts have been moved following militant attacks in the Maqor district of western Badghis province, with officials saying on Tuesday the relocation was a temporary step.
A provincial council member, Haji Bahauddin, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a group of insurgents launched attacks on security posts in Bom Dara valley on Monday night.
He said three posts of Public Order Police and as many of the Afghan National Army (ANA) had been relocated to a military base in the area. Only three policemen were injured in the clash.
