SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): As the holy month of Ramadan began, food items were distributed to 500 poor families in Shiberghan, the capital of northwestern Jawzjan province, an official said Sunday.
Abdul Fatah Mushtaq, head of the Hadaf Cultural Foundation (HCF) that donated the aid, said around 500 families identified as economically vulnerable have been introduced to the food distribution programme.
