SHARAN (Pajhwok): Local residents donated 23 million afghanis for education development in southeastern Paktika province this year, education officials said on Tuesday.
Education director Mohammad Nasim Wajid told a press conference in Sharan, the provincial caipital, that local people’s support for the education process had significantly increased.
“Local residents donated 23 million afghanis to the education process during the current solar year in Paktika, it helped a lot the progress of education here,” he said.
