KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): A new polio case has been diagnosed in an 18-months-old baby girl in southern Kandahar province, an official said Thursday.
Kamal Shah, UNICEF’s public relations head for Kandahar, told Pajhwok Afghan News the new polio case in Bakhto area of Shah Walikot district took the number of positive polio cases to two.
The previous case was detected in Loya Weyala area in Kandahar City, the provincial capital, this year.
Kamal Shah said the baby girl had been given polio drops for only four times and had connection . . .
