ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Three uplift projects worth nearly 100 million afghanis have been launched in the Manogi district of eastern Kunar province, officials said on Monday.
Provincial rural rehabilitation and development director Eng. Sifatullah Sharifmal told Pajhwok Afghan News on the sidelines of the projects’ inaugural ceremony here, that the schemes would cost 98.5 million afs.
The projects are being executed in Barkandai village of the district and two projects are about construction of roads in mountainous areas and the third one is construction of a retaining wall.
