MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Four education department officials have been sentenced to jail by an anti-corruption court in central Kapisa province, officials said on Tuesday.
Provincial council chief Mohammad Hussain Sanganee told Pajhwok Afghan News the four officials had been accused of funds’ embezzlement in 1392 solar year.
They were sentenced to jail terms ranging from one month to five years by the primary court yesterday and were taken into custody today.
