KABUL chief on Thursday said new political alliances were being formed by individuals seeking more power and benefits from the government.
A statement from the HIA office said Gulbadin Hekmatyar expressed the view during a meeting with the Afghanistan Youth Development Society (AYDS) in Kabul.
Hekmatyar opined alliances should not be formed to seek personal gains in the framework of political groupings. The HIA, however, would support each coalition working for peace, he promised.
