WASHINGTON (Pajhwok): UN Secretary General António Guterres on Tuesday strongly condemned the attack against worshippers in a mosque in western Herat province, where at least 15 civilians were killed and many more injured.
“Attacks that deliberately target civilians are clear violations of fundamental human rights and international humanitarian law,” said a statement from the UN secretary-general.
