BEIJING (Pajhwok): Chinese construction companies have shown interest to invest and work in Afghanistan and contribute in the development of war-torn country.
Zhang Donglei, General Affairs Department and General Manager of STECOL, recalled the reconstruction-Torkhum road was critical to the humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan. He was addressing the South Asia and Southeast Asia journalists gathering in Tianjin City of capital Beijing.
He said $31.5 million were spent by a Chinese engineering company, China Railway Shisiju Group . . .
