HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials said thousands more of families were deprived of electricity after militants destroyed another power pylon in western Herat province on Tuesday.
Governor’s spokesman, Jilani Farhad, told Pajhwok Afghan News militants blew up the pylon carrying electricity from neighboring Iran to Afghanistan this morning.
“Thousands of people are plunged into darkness after militants destroyed two lines transferring electricity from Turkmenistan and Iran in two days,” he said.
