KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Activists drove in a convoy of vehicles through the streets of Kandahar City, the capital of southern Kandahar province, on Friday to encourage parents into sending their children to school.
The activists used load-speakers to call on people to admit their children in school and displayed banners inscribed with pro-education slogans.
Launched by ‘Qalam Lar’ civil society group, a large number of people, youth and activists took part in the campaign.
