SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Supporters of the new political alliance, the Alliance for Salvation of Afghanistan, on Sunday held a protest gathering in the capital of northern Jawzjan province and demanded the return of first vice president Abdul Rashid Dostum and restoration of his powers.
Participants of the gathering in Shiberghan asked President Ashraf Ghani to pave the way for return of Dostum and reinstate his authorities as VP. They also strongly criticized the government.
