In a statement the US Embassy Special Chargé d’Affaires Ambassador Hugo Llorens said: “I condemn the evil and depraved attacks against worshippers at the Imam Zaman Mosque in Kabul yesterday afternoon. My colleagues at the Embassy and I send our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed and injured.”
The statement added the US had great respect for the Hazara community and their resilience in the face of these horrific attacks.
