PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): More than a dozen civilians and two senior Taliban figures were killed in a US airstrike in central Logar province on Wednesday morning, an official said and residents said.
Salim Saleh, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the airstrike was carried out during an operation codenamed “Khanjar” in Baraki Barak district and Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital, this morning.
