President commends valour of security forces

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani visited the capital of Paktia on Saturday morning to assess the security environment in southeastern provinces.
Accompanied by senior commanders, the president visited the headquarters of the Afghan National Army (ANA) Thunder Military Corps in Gardez. 
At meetings with the relevant officials, Ghani evaluated the security situation in Paktia, Paktika, Logar and Khost, the Presidential Palace said in a statement. 
Speaking to high-level ,ilitary and civilian officials, the president said the valour of the Afghan sdcurity forced had enabled his administration to convince the world of their capabilities.
