KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Construction work on two buildings for healthcare centers was launched in Panjwai district of southern Kandahar on Thursday.
The buildings are being constructed in Talokan and Moshan areas of the district.
Governor Zalmai Wesa, acting provincial public health director Dr. Mohammad Azim Zmaryal, Panjwai district chief Fazal Mohammad Ishaq and a number of local tribal elders attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the structures.
Dr. Zmaryal told Pajhwok Afghan News the two buildings would cost 22 million afghanis.
