<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> (Pajhwok): Armed robbers managed to escape after killing a young man in the capital Kabul on Sunday morning, an official said.</p>
<p>The incident took place near Panjsad Family square in the limits of 15<sup>th</sup> police district of Kabul around 7am, Basir Mujhaid, the spokesman for 101<sup>st</sup> Asmaee Police Zone told Pajhwok Afghan News.</p>
<p>The robbers in a 4Runner type vehicle gunned down Najibullah, 27, in order to take his money, he said.</p>
<p> “The robbers were trying to get Najibullah money, but he had a pistol with him, both sides exchanged fire in which two robbers injured and Najibullah injured,” Mujahid added.</p>
<p>He said that Najibullah was taken to hospital but was succumbed due to his serious injuries.</p>
<p>The robbers managed to flee the area and a manhunt was underway by police to capture them, he concluded.</p>
