JALALABAD (Pajhwok): An explosives-laden car was seized and a suspected attacker detained by security forces in eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, the Afghan military said.
The Afghan National Army’s 201 Selab Military Corps in a statement said the bomb-rigged corolla car was confiscated in Dur Baba district during an operation.
About 200 kilograms of explosives had been skillfully placed in the car, the statement said.
One combatant was also detained during a clash with militants in the area, the brief statement said.
