JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Six people, including a woman and a child, were killed and 13 others injured in a suicide attack on a pro-government gathering in the capital of eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday.
The blast ripped through the event near the Sherzai stadium in Jalalabad at about 1:15pm, the governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the bomber concealed his explosives in a motorcycle that went off in the middle of the crowd on the main highway.
