KABUL (Pajhwok): Former president Hamid Karzai, currently on a private visit to New Delhi, has met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The two leaders conferred on bilateral issues as well as the security situation in the region, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI) news agency.
Modi, who hosted a dinner for Karzai, tweeted: "Delighted to meet my friend Karzai in New Delhi."
Strategic partnership, including India's development assistance and cooperation in other key areas, came up for discussion at the meeting . . .
