KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Provincial council members and tribal elders in southern Kandahar and Zabul provinces on Thursday said the ouster of Balkh governor Atta Mohammad Noor was pushing the country into a new political crisis.
The heads of Kandahar and Zabul provincial councils and members addressed a joint press conference at the Kandahar Provincial Council office here.
They said the approval of Noor’s resignation by the president was not in the interest of the prevailing situation in the country.
