KABUL (Pajhwok): An alleged would-be suicide bomber has been detained before reaching target in the capital of northern Takhar province, the spy service said Wednesday.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS ‘Red Unit’, who was arrested in Taloqan city.
The NDS statement accused the detainee of his involvement in terrorist activities and said Ahmad had confessed to his intention of carrying out a suicide attack on a specific target.
The Taliban have not yet commented . . .
