KABUL (Pajhwok): Three months have passed since five senior officials of the Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) were fired, but their replacement has turned into a trouble.
On October 22, 2017, the IECC sacked its five officers with approval from Abdul Aziz Aryayee, head of the commission.
At the time, the commission had said the officers were sacked in accordance with article 33 of the election law.
