TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Security forces destroyed an explosives-laden military vehicle after seizing it in the capital of central Uruzgan province, an official said Monday.
2nd Lt. Zainullah, provincial police headquarters' first division commander, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban had the plan to attack on security forces’ check-point in Sar-Murdah locality of the Tirinkot, the provincial capital, late on Sunday.
Police who had prior information of the plot seized and destroyed the Humvee military model vehicle along with two Taliban rebels.
