PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistan has decided to speed up the repatriation of Afghan refugees in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
At a meeting chaired by the prime minister in Islamabad late on Tuesday, the federal cabinet said the government would facilitate the voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees holding proof of repatriation cards.
“It was emphasised the international community should fulfill its obligations towards shouldering this responsibility to ensure the smooth repatriation and rehabilitation of the refugees,” said a spokesman for Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan . . .
