Roland Kobia, following a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Deng Xi junin in Beijing on Wednesday, said China and EU believed Ghani’s offer to the Taliban was meaningful.
“It is an offer that presents an opportunity and a window that should be seized by all parties across the conflict lines," Kobia was quoted as saying by Reuters.
