KABUL (Pajhwok): Energy and Water Minister Ali Ahmad Osmani said on Sunday that works were nearing completion on amending the law on water and establishing two quality dam construction companies.
Osmani told a gathering marking International Water Day in Kabul that global warming, increased use of water, deforestation, eradication of greenery and other factors had led to 5.2 million cubic meter extra water usage.
He said Afghanistan would face water scarcity if steps for its water management . . .
