PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A senior US diplomat has arrived in Pakistan
Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Alice G Wells is due to meet senior Pakistani officials, Geo News reported.
US-Pakistan relations, the Afghan peace processand regional developments are on the agenda. Progress in implementing President Donald Trump’s policy for South Asia will also be reviewed.
In Washington, the State Department said: “Wells will discuss our South Asia strategy and Pakistan's stated commitment to eliminating terrorist groups on its soil . . .
