HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Fifteen Taliban insurgents and two security personnel have been killed during an attack in the Chesht district of western Herat province, an official said on Tuesday.
Jilani Farhad, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the militants attacked the Sar Chashma area of the district late Monday night. About 15 militants were killed and eight others wounded by the security forces.
