KABUL (Pajhwok): Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani has met First Vice President Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum in the Turkish capital Ankara and discussed with him the country’s political situation.
Rabbani wrote on his social media account that he held a detailed discussion with Dostum about the ongoing political and overall security situation particularly in the north.
Future parliamentary elections, the policy of Afghanistan Salvation Alliance were also discussed at the meeting, he said.
It is worth mentioning that President Ashraf Ghani and Gen. Dostum had recently held a telephonic conversation after months of his exile in Turkey.
According to sources, the conversation was held at the request of Gen. Dostum.
