FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): The voter’s registration process has gotten off to a slow start in western Ghor province as many residents do not have paper identity cards, provincial election officials said on Friday.
“People in villages and remote parts of Ghor still don’t have identity cards and they are unable to obtain the cards by visiting the concerned office due to insecurity in their areas,” said Nazir Nasrat, Independent Election Commission (operations) chief for Ghor.
