KABUL (Pajhwok): The death toll from Sunday suicide bombing in the Dasht-i-Barchi area of the capital Kabul surged to 69 while 120 others injured, the Kabul police said on Monday.
Daesh or so called Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing which happened at around 10:00am in the morning.
Police Spokesman Hashmatullah Stanikzai told reporters here that 69 people have been killed and 120 others injured in the Sunday deadly bombing.
Among the dead are seven women condition of injured had reported as stable.
Earlier, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced 57 bodies and 119 injured had been evacuated to different hospitals in Kabul.
