Afghan, Pak & Indonesian ulema to meet on May 11

KABUL on May 11 to explore ways of bringing peace and stability to the war-torn country.

The meeting is aimed to provide a platform for the ulema from Indonesia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan to discuss how they could best contribute to the peace process in Afghanistan.

Discussion would focus on highlighting Islamic teachings regarding the imperative of peace and brotherhood among Muslims. The conference, slated for May 11, will take place at the Bogor Palace.
