KABUL (Pajhwok): Five more electronic National Identity Cards (e-NICs) distribution centres would be set up over the next six months in Kabul, an official said on Sunday.
Two weeks back, President Ashraf Ghani obtained his e-NIC, marking the launch of the process, but his CEO Abdullah Abdullah and few others figures opposed the move.
Abdullah and others argued the launch of the process needed more consultations. The first e-NIC distribution centre opened in the Kart-i-Chahar area of Kabul.
