KABUL (Pajhwok): Abdul Sattar Mirzakwal has been appointed as the governor of eastern Kunar province while Wahidullah Kalimzai as the governor southern Ghazni province, sources at the Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) said on Friday.
The two new governors are expected to take charge soon, an IDLG source told Pajhwok Afghan News. Kalimzai is a resident of central Maidan Wardak province. His one bother is member of the Senate and a second brother is member of the Wolesi Jirga . . .
