KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): At least three civilians have been killed in a bomb blast in southern Zabul province, officials said Saturday.
Governor’s spokesman, Gul Islam Seyal, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the explosion happened in Juldak area of Qalat city, the provincial capital, on Friday night.
He said three civilians traveling in a car from Kandahar province to Zabul were hit by the bomb and left all of them killed.
The vehicle the passengers were traveling in was also destroyed, he said, adding the bomb was planted on road by the Taliban militants.
However, Taliban did not comment yet on the incident so far.
