PULI-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The firefight in Azra district of central Logar province came to an end late Tuesday with the killing of 31 Taliban, 16 security forces and four civilians, a public representative said Wednesday.
Abdul Wali Wakeel, a member of the Provincial Council, told Pajhwok Afghan News that hundreds of armed militants made a run for the Azra district center from different directions Monday midnight.
The ensuing clashes continued overnight and lasted until late Tuesday, leaving four civilians, 16 security officials and 31 Taliban militants . . .
