KABUL (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has urged equipping the custom department with modern security system in order to identify the interference of irrelevant persons in the affairs of custom, a statement from Presidential Palace said on Saturday.
The president expressed the view during a video meeting on collection of custom revenue. Heads of concerned institutions, including governors, police chiefs, intelligence heads, custom department heads, from Heart, Nangarhar, Balkh, Nimroz, Kandahar, Paktia, Paktika and Khost provinces took part.
